Need for Speed Carbon

Need for Speed: Carbon gameplay is similar to Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Underground 2, but based upon rival street racing crews instead of individuals. Players run a crew and can hire specific street racers to be in their crew and the active friendly racer is known as a wingman. Each employable street racer has two skills, a racing skill (scout, blocker, and drafter) and a non-race skill (fixer, mechanic, and fabricator). Each skill has different properties from finding hidden alleys/back streets (shortcuts) to reducing police attention. Cars driven by the wingmen are also different; blockers drive muscle, drafters drive exotics and scouts drive tuners (although the first two unlockable wingmen (Neville and Sal) drive cars according to the player's chosen car class at the start of the game). Car classes are Tuners, Muscle, and Exotics, and are associated with their own borough and Boss (Tuners/Downtown/Kenji, Exotics/Fortuna/Wolf, and Muscle/Kempton/Angie).

Players must choose a class when starting Career Mode, which will be permanent throughout the career. Each choice starts in a different district, with corresponding initial car choices and unlocks as the game progresses (there is a test drive option at the beginning). Players may ultimately choose from any class of car, and can also unlock cars that are reserved for Quick Races as they earn Reward Cards.

Need for Speed Most Wanted

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is set in an open world environment. The game takes on the gameplay style of the first Most Wanted title in the Need for Speedfranchise. Most Wanted allows players to select one car and compete against other racers in three types of events: Sprint races, which involves traveling from one point of the city to another, Circuit races, each having two or three laps total and Speed runs, which involve traversing through a course in the highest average speed possible. There are also Ambush races, where the player starts surrounded by cops and must evade their pursuit as quickly as possible.

Cops are integrated into certain racing sessions, in which the police deploy vehicles and tactics to stop the player's car and arrest the player, like the original Most Wanted.[11] The game features a Most Wanted List of 10 racers, similar to the Blacklist in the single-player section of the original Most Wanted, which featured 15 racers. As the Most Wanted racers are defeated, their cars are added to the player's roster the moment the player wrecks them.[12][13] In this reiteration, the focus shifts from Rockport, the city in the original, to a new city called Fairhaven.

Fairhaven is just like a regular city. It has a beach and an Industrial District. It has a main highway dubbed I-92 that stretches across the city. Gameplay of Most Wanted has been likened to that of the Burnout series. Like Burnout Paradise, races have a start and end point but players can choose their own route to the finish line, a departure from the original Most Wanted, but similar to "crew challenges" from the sequel, Carbon.[14] Destructible billboards and fences; and drive-through repair garages, all of which originated from Paradise, are also featured.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit

Hot Pursuit goes back to the Need for Speed series' roots and takes on the gameplay style of earlier Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 titles in the Need for Speed franchise with exotic cars and high-speed police chases. Hot Pursuit lets players be either a racer or a police driver, and features a full career mode for both roles. The relationship between the cops and racers is described as "a dog chasing down a rabbit"; the police being more powerful while the racers are faster. Each side has several power-ups including calling for roadblocks and radar jamming.[8] According to Criterion the single-player section is somewhere between 12 and 15 hours long, but with lots of replay value.[9]

The game takes place in a fictional location known as Seacrest County based on Southern California, Arizona, and Colorado.[8] It's an open world and features over 100 miles (160 km) of open road, four times larger than that of Burnout Paradise, Criterion's previous title.[10] Hot Pursuit features a new social interaction system called "Autolog" which is described as "Facebook for the game".[11]The game features both single-player and multiplayer game modes with up to eight players; as an option to live multiplayer racing, players can post records and achievements on the Autolog feed for friends to see, which they then can try to beat. Autolog also contains an experience system called "Bounty".[12]

The driving mode of the game is described as "fun, accessible, okay", however not as arcade-styled as Burnout Paradise, but far from a simulator.[8][12] All vehicles in Hot Pursuit are licensed real-world cars and SUVs, described as "all the cars you dreamed of driving, in the way you dreamed of driving them".[13]

Most vehicles are available in both racer and police variants, but a few cars are exclusive to each side.[12][14] Also exclusively featured in the Hot Pursuit is the Porsche 918 Spyder.[15] Ferrari however, last seen in a Shift DLC-pack but notably absent from all other Need for Speed games since Hot Pursuit 2, is also absent from Hot Pursuit.[16] There is no car customization or tuning, other than color changing, "just because the game really focuses on the Hot Pursuitelement."[12] Unlike previous Need for Speed games which use unbranded, fictional models, real cars like the Audi A4Chevrolet CobaltPorsche Cayenneand Nissan Frontier are used as traffic cars.

Call of Duty 4- Modern Warfar

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. The fourth installment in the Call of Duty series, it was released in 2007 for the PlayStation 3Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. The game breaks away from the World War II setting of previous entries in the series and is instead set in modern times. Developed for over two years, the game uses a proprietary game engine.

The story takes place in the year 2011, where a radical leader has executed the president of an unnamed country in the Middle East, and an ultranationalist movement ignites a civil war in Russia. The conflicts are seen from the perspectives of a U.S. Force Reconnaissance Marine and a British SAS commando, and are set in various locales, such as the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Ukraine. The multiplayer portion of the game features various game modes, and contains a leveling system that allows the player to unlock additional weapons, weapon attachments, and camouflage schemes as they advance.

Critically acclaimed, the game received an aggregated score of 94% from both GameRankings and Metacritic. The gameplay and story received particular praise, while criticism targeted the failure of the game to substantially innovate the first-person shooter genre. The game won numerous awards from gaming websites, including IGN's Best Xbox 360 Game. It was the top-selling game worldwide for 2007, selling around seven million copies by January 2008 and almost sixteen million by November 2013.

Call of Duty-Modern Warfar 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game.[9] The player can perform several actions, including jump, sprint, crouch, lay prone, and aim down their gun's iron sights.[10] When the player is shot by an enemy, blood will splatter their heads-up display (HUD), denoting that they have taken damage; if the player avoids gunfire by taking cover, then their health will recover.[11] The HUD also displays other information, such as a compass, a mini-map, and the player's current ammunition count.[12] The game features traditional guns, including assault riflesshotgunshandguns, and sniper rifles. The player will be given specific guns at the beginning of each level, but may switch them out with another gun they find.[13] Most guns have attachments, such as suppressors, and heartbeat sensors.[14] The player can also use grenades and flashbangs when faced with a large group of enemies, as well as a knife for close quarters combat.[15] In some levels, the player will be given special equipment, such as night vision goggles, or a laser designator.[16]

Players can compete against each other in Multiplayer mode

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has three different game modes to choose from: Campaign, Spec Ops, and Multiplayer.[17]Campaign is a single-player mode where the player completes eighteen levels connected by an overarching plot.[18] Each level features a series of objectives to fulfill, and the player will often switch characters between levels.[17][19] If the player dies during a level, they will respawn at the most recent checkpoint.[20] Levels can be played on one of four difficulties, and each level can be replayed after it has been completed.[20][21] Spec Ops mode features twenty-three additional levels that can be played individually or cooperatively with a partner. These levels provide specific challenges, such as defusing three bombs within a short period of time.[22] If one player goes down while playing cooperatively, they will begin crawling, and can shoot enemies with a handgun. If they are not revived by the other player, then they will die and fail the level. There are five tiers of Spec Ops levels, with each tier harder than the last. Only the first tier is available from the beginning, as later tiers can be unlocked with enough stars. Players earn stars by completing the levels on one of three difficulties, with the number of stars earned corresponding to the difficulty chosen.[22]

Multiplayer mode allows players to compete against each other in team-based and deathmatch-based game types on various maps. Each game type has an objective that requires unique strategies to complete.[23] If the player kills three or more players in a row without dying, they achieve a "killstreak", which gives the player a tactical advantage during a match. These include a Predator missile,[24] a sentry gun,[25] and a "tactical nuke".[26] Alternatively, if the player dies several times without a kill, they will be rewarded with a "deathstreak" bonus, which evens the match for the player.[26] A match ends when either a team or player has reached a predefined number of points, or the allotted time expires in which case the team or player with the most points wins.[27] The player's performance in the Multiplayer is tracked with experience points, which can be earned by killing opposing players, completing objectives, or by completing a match.[28] As the player gains experience, they advance in level, unlocking new weapons. The player will also unlock perks, which modify certain gameplay elements like unlimited sprint and increased bullet damage.[29]

Using the MW3 engine, development for the game began in 2010 with more than one developer. Prior to development, Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella left the company to form Respawn Entertainment. Other members had been fired or had left the company following the duo's departure. Sledgehammer Games had joined the Modern Warfare 3 development force, with Raven Software also developing the game's multiplayer mode. Following a large leak containing detailed information about the game, multiple teaser trailers were released with each showcasing a location featured in the game's campaign, leading up to a full reveal.

Upon its release Modern Warfare 3 received positive reviews from critics. The game was also a commercial success. Within 24 hours of going on sale, the game sold 6.5 million copies in the U.S. and UK alone and grossed $400 million, making it the biggest entertainment launch of all time,[8][9][10] until it was surpassed by Call of Duty: Black Ops II in November 2012.

The game was released on November 4, 2014, but a special edition titled the Day Zero Edition, which came with bonus in-game content, was released on November 3 for people who pre-ordered the game. Development for Advanced Warfare began in late 2011, shortly before the release of Modern Warfare 3. The game became the first entry in the Call of Duty series since Call of Duty 2 to feature a game engine that has had its majority re-written and built from scratch. Call of Duty- Infinite Warfare

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is the thirteenth primary installment in the Call of Duty series and was released worldwide for Microsoft WindowsPlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 4, 2016.

Development of Infinite Warfare began during 2014. It is the first title by Infinity Ward under the new three-year development cycle for the Call of Duty series. The game's campaign is centered around a battle for the Solar System, which the Settlement Defense Front (SDF), a hostile force who are the main antagonists, are attempting to take over. The player takes control of Captain Nick Reyes of the Special Combat Air Recon (SCAR). They have their own transforming fighter, named "Jackal", that they can customize as well as a central hub world named Retribution.

Special editions of Infinite Warfare were released with a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, entitled Modern Warfare Remastered. Infinite Warfare's announcement trailer was met with a mixed reception from game critics and journalists and a negative reception from the Call of Duty community. The announcement trailer was the second-most disliked video on YouTube at the time, in part due to a campaign by fans of rival game Battlefield 1 and disgruntled Call of Duty fans expressing frustration at the direction the series had taken.[2] Nevertheless, the game received generally positive reviews upon release; critics praised the single-player campaign, which was seen as a considerable improvement over the game's predecessor, Black Ops III, the Zombie mode, and the visuals, while the multiplayer mode was criticized for its lack of innovation.
